We have two Sunday Service options for Boilermaker Sunday, both at 10:30 AM.
“Woven in a Single Garment of Destiny: Exploring and Celebrating Hallmarks of our Unitarian Universalist Theology.” This WorshipWeb service will steam on the large screen at church. Hospitality will follow.
We’re all connected – an interdependent whole. Therefore, says Rev. Susan Frederick-Gray, “Covenant is our religious response to our fundamental interdependence.” We make promises about how to be together, and how to be in the world. We also fall short of honoring those promises, inviting us to repair and strengthen the strands of community. The choice to mend broken strands of the web is an act of faithfulness. The liturgist for this service, is Rev. Erika Hewitt, UUA Minister of Worship Arts, who has coordinated original songs composed just for this service featuring a wide range of worship and music leaders.
FOR OUR ZOOM VIEWERS, we will be streaming a service from the UU Society of Schenectady entitled “The Difference is You.” We’re all searching at this point, especially with the way things are going in the world. We’re all searching for answers, to make a difference, to make things better. The difference is you, in you, in each of us. Join several members of UUSS along with Worship associates Beth Offenbacker and Stephanie Maslanka for this Poetry/Music Worship Service. The Zoom link for this service only is http://bit.ly/uuschenectadyworship (not our usual link).
