The Church has recently formed an Emergency Preparedness Team (EPT) This Team is tasked with planning for emergencies of all kinds, including natural disasters, medical events, fire response, police response and threats or perceived actions by others, that could jeopardize the safety of our members and friends. Part of this will also be coordination of disaster response with other local faith communities Some of the actions already taken include new sensors for fire with direct contact to the fire department, new signs for fire extinguishers and increasing our number of carbon monoxide/smoke sensors. We also now have a defibrillator and Narcan kit in the Church. As the EPT meets during this Church year we will be finalizing an emergency preparedness plan document that will aid in knowing how to respond when needed. Here is a link to the plan document in its current form.
