The Duties of the Nominating Committee
The UUUtica Nominating Committee is tasked with finding and preparing people for leadership positions in the church, specifically for the Board of Trustees and the Nominating Committee. The committee submits the slate of nominees to be voted on at the Annual Meeting, which usually takes place in June of each year. The committee is also called upon to recommend nominees when vacancies occur on either the Board or the Nominating Committee.

The Nominating Committee typically has three elected members serving three year terms, one of which is up each year.
