Climate Action is charged with motivating our UUU members and friends to consider their faith based principles in their day to day decisions, as it relates to caring for our planet, through making earth friendly choices based upon the Unitarian Universalist 7th Principle to honor, value and nurture the independent
web of life.
Climate Action promotes and disseminates information about climate-friendly events and activities, including informing all political candidates and elected officials about climate issues. 
The Climate Action team currently meets by zoom the 1st Sunday of every month at 1145 am.

Green Sanctuary 2030

With our board’s approval, the Climate Team has enrolled our congregation in the UUA’s Green Sanctuary 2030 program which provides structure, leadership and support to hundreds of UU congregations working towards climate justice. As a part of our efforts to earn the Green Sanctuary recognition, we will be collaborating with other UU congregations, community partners, and each other to help us more fully live our principles and achieve our vision of a sustainable and just world for all.
