The stories we carry help us and others know who we are, where we’ve been, and where we’re headed. They can either empower or limit our ability to move in any direction. Our story – and our nation’s identity – are not fixed. In witnessing derogatory narratives within our communities and nation, maybe it’s time for a “Narrative Intervention”. How we shape a story can serve as an act of resistance, a declaration of hope, and a reminder of our shared humanity.
