
So much of life is a co-mingling of grief and joy. Drawing from both poetry and the Christian New Testament, this sermon is a reflection on how we can cultivate practices to help ground us during times of deep grief and grow our capacity to joy and peace in the midst of it all.
The Rev. Dr. Colleen Hallagan Preuninger currently serves as the Dean of Spiritual & Religious Life at Hamilton College. Returning to the region last summer, Colleen is grateful for the opportunity to serve closer to home and family. Serving in higher education settings since 2013 at Syracuse, Shenandoah, and Stanford Universities, Colleen is passionate about working with students to cultivate communities of belonging, meaning, and purpose during their college years. She holds a BA from Hamilton College, MDiv from Princeton Theological Seminary, and a DMin from Wesley Theological Seminary.
